"High Road Reverie" is an original watercolor, 22"X 15", on Kilimanjaro 300-pound cold press watercolor paper using American Journey and Davinci paints. The subject is the interesting shapes of the rear of the historic San Francisco de Assisi Mission church in Rancho de Taos built in the early 1800s. It is the only original church which remains intact in the Taos, New Mexio area.

Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator.
