San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Taos New Mexico, famed for the rounded curves and stark angles of its sturdy adobe walls, was completed in 1815. The church has long been a landmark for the Hispanic, Native American and Anglo community of Taos, and has been memorialized by scores of artists including Georgia O'Keeffe in paint, and photographer Ansel Adams.
